Challenge:

Reimagine and design the cover of Ralph Ellison’s book “Invisible Man”

Solution:

Years ago, I read Ralph Ellison’s captivating book Invisible Man. The book delves into the rampant, overt racism that a black man experiences in the United States in the 1920’s, which contributes to him feeling invisible. I chose a dark silhouette to represent the narrator’s state of mind and incorporated it into the title by playing with the negative space.
