The Kiss of Death Poster
Challenge:
Create an engaging design with a hidden message in the negative space
Solution:
I took to Illustrator to create something with both a hidden and conspicuous message. Smoking has long been portrayed in media as a sensual albeit hazardous activity, so I needed to find a way to represent that dual nature. I played with the positive and negative space, illustrating a smoking cigarette and two people about to take the “kiss of death.”
